Se trata de Speedo Aquabeat, un equipo que puede sumergirse hasta tres metros, pesa sólo 35 gramos y cuenta con capacidad para flotar, una característica esencial para los que en un descuido podrían perderlo bajo el agua.
El reproductor sólo dispone de tres botones: uno para encender, otro para adelantar y otro para retroceder las canciones, y viene acompañado con un software para editar la lista de temas.
A diferencia del resto de mp3 convencionales, Speedo Aquabeat no tiene una pantalla LCD donde poder visualizar la canción que se esté reproduciendo, y de momento sólo estará disponible en EEUU y a través de Internet, a un precio de U$S 145.
