La muy conocida y cotizada consola de juegos Nintendo Wii ha querido ampliar sus habilidades integrando s sus funciones una aplicación más, la de reproductor de videos.
En sí, Nintendo en colaboración con la agencia de publicidad (seguramente la promotora del proyecto) Dentsu implementarán éste nuevo servicio a su consola.
En el próximo año, el 2009, es que se realizará la presentación formal de tal acontecimiento. Esto se lo realiza por razones de innovar más en el producto, pues como todos saben, Wii aún sigue siendo la consola de juegos preferida de muchos, tanto así que han llegado a un punto de venta de 34,6 millones de consolas, pero lo que se desea es mantenerla a la punta de los aparatos tecnológicos.
La consola de juegos nintendo Wii tendrá la posibilidad entonces, desde el próximo año, de poder reproducir videos sobre diferentes programas. Podrá tenerse la posibilidad de exhibir videos pagados o videos gratuitos. Los videos gratuitos tendrán publicidad incorporada que puedan financiar los mismos.
Aún no se ha dado información sobre qué tipo de programas serán los que se exhibirán, pero todo anuncia a que en primera instancia serán programas de entretenimiento general. Seguro que estas nuevas implementaciones en la consola de juegos Nintendo Wii incitarán a quienes aún no han adquirido una, pues esa es la intención, de mejorar su mercado de venta.
